Karen Tamblyn Groves is a retired newspaper journalist, whose career included several years at The Rocky Mountain News and The Denver Post. Now, she volunteers for the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County, writing press releases and letters to the editor. She is the newsletter editor, photographer and communication team member for LWVJeffco.org. She grew up in Dallas and Los Angeles and attended U.C.L.A. and U.C. Berkeley, where she majored in English and Art History. In addition to newspapers, she has worked on periodicals and books and been published in Historically Jeffco. She lives in Evergreen with her husband, son and two little dogs.
